Belkan Air Force

let’s be honest Belka is no fit state to fight anyone but i’ll get to my point a little later now time to break down what i think the Belkan Air Force probably has now.

They’d have North Point, Emmerian, Sapinish and Belkan made EF-2000 Typhoon fighters and EF-2000 typhoon ECR along North Point, Emmerian and Belkan made Tornado ADV Interceptors and Tornado IDS fighter-bombers and Tornado ECR Electronic Warfare aircraft.

As for the Other Aircraft
Their Cargo Transport would be made up of Erusean A310-300C airliners with A400M Atlas along with Osean C-5A and B Galaxys and C-17A Globemaster 3s and the C-160D.

The Electronic Warfare fleet would be made up of Osean E-767s

Belka’s Tanker force would be Erusean A310MRTT, A330MRTT and A400M atlas

Its Reconnaissance planes would be UAVs consisting of Osean Heron TPs.

Its Trainers would only be Osean T-6A Texan 2s and T-38C Talon along with North Point, Emmerian and Belkan Tornado IDS and EF-2000T Typhoon conversion trainers

Its VIP Transport would mostly be ex-Belkhansa 707-320C, 727-200 Advanced and surplus Dc-9-32 as Osea impounded the Erusean made A310-300s, A319-100CJs, A321-200, A340-300s and A350-900CJs along with Emmerian made Global 5000 and Global 6000 and an Osean built LJ35As

Belka’s Helicopters force would be this

The Attack Helicopter force would be a small number of AH-64A Apache and its Helicopter Gunships would be Mil Mi-8TB Hip-E and Mil Mi-24D Hind-D

Its Cargo transport force would be Osean-made CH-53G, GA and GS Sea Stallions and pre Belkan War Mil Mi-8S and T Hip-Cs while its Combat Search and Rescue mission are handled by CH-53GE sea stallions with Search and Rescue are handled by Mil Mi-8PS Hip-C and Mil Mi-14PS Haze-C

The Belkan Air Force’s Electronic Warfare Mil Mi-9 Hip-G with its Medical-Evacuation tasks being handled by Mil Mi-2S Hoplite and its Helicopter Trainer is taken care by Mil Mi-1 Hares.

Its VIP transport is an Erusean-made AS532U2 Cougar

The Utility helicopter is Osea’s UH-1D Huey and Osea’s UH-72A Lakota variant of Erusea’s EC145 Helicopter.

So yeah Belka’s air force is made up of mostly Osean, Yuketobanian and Erusean equipment which wouldn’t be a problem except cause of what Belka has done in the decades since they lost the Belkan War

Osean carriers through Time

i was in a discussion about Osea’s aircraft carriers I decided to chart the Osean Carrier size through time

Osean carriers through time of 100 years

I’ll start with the 1920s where the Osean Navy has Langley class aircraft carrier, Lexington class aircraft carrier, Wasp class aircraft carrier, Akagi class aircraft carrier, Kagi class aircraft carrier and Hosho class aircraft carrier

So at the dawn of carrier aviation Osea had six aircraft carrier types so let’s move to the 1930s

In the 1930s the Osean Navy had been building its carrier force that was composed of Yorktown class aircraft carrier, Langley class aircraft carrier, Lexington class aircraft carrier, Wasp class aircraft carrier, Ranger class aircraft carrier, Akagi class aircraft carrier, Kagi class aircraft carrier, Hosho class aircraft carrier, Ryūjō-class light aircraft carrier and Hiyō-class light aircraft carriers

So in the 30s Osea doubled the size of the fleet to its peak now lets move to final era of propeller aviation as the main method of naval air power the 1940s so bear with me as this one is the longest

the fleet at the time was made Langely class aircraft carrier, Lexington class aircraft carrier, Wasp class aircraft carrier, Yorktown class aircraft carrier, Essex class aircraft carrier, Midway class aircraft carrier, Hosho class aircraft carrier, Akagi class aircraft carrier, Kaga class aircraft carrier, Soryu class aircraft carrier, Shokaku class aircraft carrier, Hiryū class aircraft carrier, Unryū-class aircraft carrier and Taihō-class aircraft carriers.

The Light Carrier fleet would’ve consisted of the Independence class, Saipan class, Hōshō-class, Ryūjō-class, Hiyō-class, Zuihō-class, Chitose-class and Ryūhō-class light aircraft carriers.

Osea would likely have also had these ship as part of its escort carrier fleet the Long Island class, Charger class, Bogue class aircraft carrier, Sangamon class, Casablanca class, Commencement Bay, Taiyo class, Kaiyo class, Shinyo class, Shimane Maru class and Yamashio Maru class escort aircraft carriers.

As you can see by the 40s the Osean Navy had the biggest aircraft carriers fleet but clearly must have taken severe losses during the conflict which is reflected by the fleet in the 1950s.

As technology advanced into the era of jet aviation the fleet started to shrink as the ships got bigger so let’s begin with the 1950s where the first nuclear powered aircraft carriers but let’s get to the fleet which back then consisted of surviving Essex class aircraft carrier, Enterprise class aircraft carrier, Midway class, Forrestal class and United States class aircraft carrierS.

As the times show Osea’s carrier force shrank but as the swinging 1960s rolled in but the fleet grew in the 60s with the fleet with the Essex class, Midway class, Forrestal class aircraft carrier, Enterprise class, United States class and the newer Kitty-Hawk class aircraft carriers.

In the 1970s the Osean fleet continued to shrink with almost all the Essex class and all the United States class aircraft carriers being removed from service by the end of the decade but unlike the IRL US Navy introduced the Nimitz class carriers but as we have no Strangereal evidence to say the Nimitz class entered in this time so the Osean Fleet would have been the Kitty-Hawk class, Enterprise class, Midway class, Forrestal class aircraft carrier and Essex class aircraft carriers.

When the 1980s came and the Strangereal Cold War began but the fleet was mostly the same but shrank once more with Kitty-Hawk class aircraft carrier, Enterprise class, Midway class aircraft carrier, Forrestal class and the last Essex class aircraft carriers.

Now we moved to the canon timeline starting with 1995 and Ace Combat 0’s the Belkan war where the fleet reduced again which is where the Nimitz class was introduced with a single Nimitz class aircraft carrier and the Kitty-Hawk class, Enterprise class although by this time all the Midway and almost all the Forrestal class aircraft carriers had been retired although could have been recommissioned but their retirement would leave a lone Forrestal class aircraft carrier in service.

We move to Ace combat 5’s 2010 Circum-Pacfic war where the Osean Navy reorganised as the Osean Maritime Defense Force had move to nuclear carriers made up of Nimitz class aircraft carrier and Enterprise class aircraft carriers although by the end of the war they had been reduced by 4 as four Nimitz class ships from the fleet had been sunk in battle.

Now we come to the most recent Ace Combat game and Recent conflict that Osea was involved Ace combat 7‘s 2019 Lighthouse war

Osea spent the 9 years building up its carrier force and their fleet at the time was the new Gerald-R-Ford class and the Nimitz class aircraft carriers with likely the smaller Izumo class light aircraft carriers bolstering the fleet although they lost 2 carriers.

the fleet in 2020 is made up of possibly a lone Gerald.R.Ford class and the remaining Nimitz class aircraft carriers and Izumo class light aircraft carriers.

As you can see from the numbers the Osean navy’s carrier force started small only to grow rapidly peaking in the 40s which would fit with a possible conflict in the 40s something hinted at from an Ace Combat 0 assault record of Fredi Starke

from Acepedia quote
‘He is the grandson of the top 1940’s Belkan ace Jonas Starke.’

after the jet age likely came in the 40s and 50s the carrier size fluctuated then began declining as the carriers grew in size until

so where do i think Osea will be in carrier strength in the years to come well AC7 has shown they are building the new Ford class and as the Nimitz class entered service in 1990s instead of the 1970s like in real life then they likely will still be in active use by the 2040s or 2050s so here’s my prediction for the carrier force size in the future

Gerald-R-Ford class and Nimitz class aircraft carriers and a fleet of Izumo class light aircraft carriers.

so the evolution of Osean Carriers over the last century is quite interesting so I’ll see you all next time

😉 🙂

Federation of Central Usean Navy

So The Usean Navy a force who lost 36 ships in a rebellion over 2 decades ago and 2 wars later they’re not seen but this is what I think they probably look like

Well to start off with the carrier which I think be the venerable Kitty-Hawk Class Aircraft Carriers because as good as the Nimitz and Gerald.R.Ford Class Aircraft Carriers are they are too much for the Usean Government to operate so they kept their Kitty-Hawks as they can carry about as many aircraft as the Osean Supercarriers and have a smaller Juan Carlos 1 Class Aircraft Carriers, even though Emmeria has one and Estovakia had one but it got sunk although I think it’s likely Osea and Emmeria would be watching these Nimitz and Gerald.R.Ford Class Aircraft Carriers in case their nuclear material leaks.

For the Cruisers well the only choice they’d have is the Osean Ticonderoga Class Aegis Cruisers and Sapinish Alvaro De Bazan Class Aegis Frigates as there really aren’t alternatives.

The Corvette fleet consists of the Ching Chiang Tuo Chiang Class Corvettes and a single an LST-542 Class converted Command Ship

Despite their being a load of destroyers defecting they’d probably stick and expand their fleet of Osean Hatakaze Class Destroyers and bring surplus Sovremenny Class Destroyers along with refurbished Osean Navy Kidd Class destroyers.

The same for their fleet of Cassard Class Frigates which would be bolstered by Osea’s Oilver-Hazard Perry Class Frigates along with refurbished Osean Navy Knox class Frigates, Erusean Navy La Fayette class Frigate and Sapin based Santa Maria class Frigates

the San Giorgio Class Landing Ship would be the lead ships in the Landing Ship fleet which would be made from Ex-Osean Navy Newport, Anchorage, LST-1 and Galicia class landing ships which carry the Pormornik Class and Yuyi class Hovercraft.

The Missile Boat tasks would be handled by the Kuang Hua 6-Class Missile Boats while Usea would have a large fleet of Gunboats consisting of Sapin made Serviola Class, Anaga Class, Toralla Class, Aresa Class and Cabo Gradera Class Gunboats.

The Offshore Patrol Boat Fleet would the responsibility of the Guaiquerí Class and Guaicamacuto class offshore patrol boat while the Supply ship fleet is made of the Pan Shi and Wu Yi class supply ship with the Contramaestre Casado Class Cargo ships providing Logistical transportation and the Patino class and Cantabria class oil tanker

As for its submarine force I’d say they after losing both of their Dragonet class Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarines that they’d operate a small fleet of Ohio Class SSBNs along with a couple SSNs in the form of Los Angeles while Osean would probably provide refurbished Haraushio and Oyashio class SSK hunter-killer Submarines which would have a Sapin made Galerna Class, An Ex-Nordlands Navy Zwaaardvis Class and an ancient 1940s era ex-Osean Navy Trench class attack submarine

Moving onto the Naval air arms I’ll start with the Combat Aircraft which would for its fighter force would be F-14AM+ and BM model Tomcat which if you’ve not heard of the F-14A+ well it was a re-engined F-14A tomcat taking the F-14A airframe and switching the unreliable and underpowered TF30-414As which could only put out about 10,800ibs of dry thrust and 20,900ibs with afterburner with the F110-400 which was a more reliable and more powerful engine these were known as F-14A+ till being redesignated F-14Bs but in Strangereal they are two different aircraft. I figured as Usea couldn’t afford any more F-35s so they’d buy refurbished and modernized F-14A+ and B model Tomcat making them F-14AM+ and BM model Tomcats.

They’d also have some F-15N Sea Eagles and F-16N Sea Falcons which are the designation for US Navy aggressor aircraft applied to the proposed vought model 1600 which was a navalised version of the F-16A Fighting Falcon.

Now onto their Strike aircraft which would mainly have A-6F intruders which I guess no-one knows what the A-6F Intruder 2 is well in 1980s there was a proposal for an A-6F Intruder 2 which would have had an additional wing hardpoint giving the Intruder 2 more ordinance capacity over the older A-6s and replaced the older fuel inefficient two J52-8B turbojets which could produce 9300ibs of thrust with the two 11000ib F404-402 turbofans from the F-18 Hornet and its avionics were upgraded to the ones found on the Air Force Strike Eagles while IRL the A-6F got canned in favour of the A-12 Avenger 2 which itself got canned and its job taken by the Super Hornets.

In Strangereal I could see Osea having built this aircraft and using it to replace ageing and inefficient A-6E Intruders until the end of 2010 Circum-Pacfic War where the Oseans sold their fleet of A-6Fs to the Usean Navy.

For their Carrier Onboard Electronic Warfare platforms the Usean Navy would use the EA-6B Prowler and EA-6H Prowler 2. the EA-6B is the real world version the EA-6H is my fictional modification of the A-6F following the same basic idea that created the EA-6B Prowler.

Both would have redesigned fuselages with the Prowler 1 have more powerful but still older and fuel inefficient 10,400ib j52-408a turbojets while EA-6H Prowler 2 would have the more fuel economic 14,000ib f414-400 turbofan and avionics from Osea’s EA-18G Growlers which replaced the Osean navy’s prowler 2 and prowler fleets in the years after the Circum-Pacfic war.

To bolster their strike aircraft fleet would be some refurbished Osean Navy A-7E Corsair 2s that despite their age and less fuel efficient tf41s that are an Osean versions of the North Point RB.189-25R Spey turbofan which has a respectable weapons load and cannon ammo for its time and AV-8B+ Harrier 2s.

Moving onto the Cargo Transport fleet which for large Carrier-onboard Delivery operations would be served by C-2A Greyhounds which are ideal as they like had been using them form a good while now. Their main cargo transport needs would be served by a handful of ex-Osean Marine Corps KC-130F and R Tankers converted into transport planes and Sapin C212-400 Light Cargo Transports.

For Electronic Warfare duties like carrier AEWC the Usean Navy would have E-2C Hwakeyes while communication with ballistic missile submarines would be served by EC-130Qs sold to Usea by Osea in the early 90s and their Electronic Intelligence gathering planes would be Osean and Sapin Navy P-3AM Orions converted to the Electronic Intelligence gathering role and some retired Osean Navy EP-3E Aries and Aries 2 while the Carrier Electronic Intelligence gathering would be covered by ES-2T Turbo Trackers.

With the tanker fleet the Usean Navy would for their Carrier-onboard Tanker use A-6F Intruder 2s as KA-6I Intruder 2s and have some KC-130F and Rs for Tanker and Transport duties.

To guard their coastlines they’d obtain and modernize a fleet of Osean and Sapin P-3A Orions into P-3AM Orions but some would be converted into other roles such as the one I’ll talk about a little later and the one up next. However the Orions would only be one part in a quad of maritime patrol fleet which would be Osean 757 converted airliners into 757-200MPAs and short range Yuketobanian Be-6P Madge flying boats and Sapin C212-200MPAs for pirate shipping surveillance.

For their Signals Intelligence gathering as they likely couldn’t afford UAVs as they are very costly and need specialised equipment so instead they converted some P-3AMs into RP-3AMs but for Carrier-borne Signals Intelligence gathering would fall to the RS-2T Turbo Tracker.

Now as Usea operates a carrier force they’d need a Carrier-borne Anti-Submarine Warfare which is fulfilled by the S-3A Viking although the amount Usea has are the only A-model Vikings as Osea’s were all converted to B-model Vikings however they’d also use the S-2T Turbo Tracker which was a retired Osea S-2E and 2G Trackers replacing the outdated and obsolete 1525 Horsepower R-1820-82A Cyclone piston radial engines with a pair of 1645 Horsepower TPE 331-15 Turboprops to provide short range Carrier-borne Anti-Submarine Warfare.

As for their trainer that was mostly filled with conversion trainers that included the TA-6A Intruder and TEA-6A Intruder, TA-7E Corsair 2, TAV-8B+ Harriers and TP-3AM Orion which used for P-3 training and multi-engined training. As for the TF-15N Sea Eagle and TF-16N Sea Falcon that is another aggressor aircraft name applied to a modified F-15N and F-16N converted into a trainers.

The Usean Navy’s utility fleet would be made up of Osean C550 Citation 2 and Light Carrier-onboard Delivery is the responsibility of US-2T Turbo Trackers.

As for the VIP Transportation I figured they’d operate some G-3 and G-4 business jets as the C-20D and C-20G along with Emmerian CR-200 and CRJ-700SE and Yuketobanian Tu-154M Careless business jetliners.

When it comes to the helicopter force The Usean Navy probably would go for something cheaper as their carrier-based Attack Helicopter would be filled by the KA-27VP Helix-D

The H-3 Sea Kings may be older but still gets the job done and so they bought a load of surplus Osean navy h-3 sea kings for multiple roles such as the CH-3G Sea King shuttle people to and from the carrier when its near port while the shuttle between the ships of a carrier strike group would be the task of the KA-29TB Helix-B, the Helicopter Transport between naval bases would be fulfilled by Erusean EC225LP Super Puma Mk.2+, Yuketobanian Mil Mi-8T Hip-C and Mi-17V-5 hip-H and Osean CM-1 Blue Hawk vairant of Osea’s H-9 Civilian Helicopter

The Usean Navy’s Carrier based Electronic Warfare Helicopters would a mixture of Yuketobanian KA-31 Helix and Osean EH-3G Sea King.

For carrier based CsaR and SaR took SH-3As and converted them into HH-3A Sea Kings while land based Search and Rescue would be the role of and Erusean EC225LP Super Puma Mk.2+ and C-1A Blue Hawk and C-6 Super Blue Hawks modifications of Osean H-9 helicopters.

Minesweeping took SH-3As and converted them into RH-3A Sea Kings.

As for the carrier Anti-Submarine Warfare helicopter would be as Usea likely isn’t able to buy newer MH-60R Seahawk helicopters so they’d buy a handful of D and H-model Sea kings along with CM-2 Blue Hawks versions of the H-9 along with surplus SH-60B Seahawk, SH-60F Oceanhawks and KA-27PL Helix-A and commercial MD-500MD Defenders converted to Anti-Submarine Warfare.

the fleet of Training Helicopters which I forgot previously would be handled by Erusean AS350B3 Ecureuil and EC120 Colibri and Osean
MD500M Defenders.

Other SH-3D and SH-3H Sea kings into Utility transport helicopters for a fleet which would be further expanded by Erusean SA341L Gazelle, Osean UH-1N Twin Huey, C-1, CM-1 and CM-2 mods of the H-9, Yuke KA-32S Helix-C and the Joint Erusean , Emmerian and Nordlands NH-90 TTH while a few H-3A Sea Kings into VH-3A Sea Kings with Erusean AS332L1 Super Puma and EC225LP Super Puma Mk.2+

I know most of this is out of date aircraft but Usea’s economy is a wreck given the Usean rebellion, an asteroid impact, the 2 continental wars, 2 Free Erusea uprisings with all of that and multiple economic crisis caused by those events yeah the Usean Navy has to take whatever it can get

so if anyone wants to tell me what Usea was based on that would be helpful

Osean turbine conversions part 3 – C-123T Provider

Following on from the C-97J Stratofreighter and C-121F Super Constellation the 3rd turbine conversion is C-123T Provider which was converted from B and K-model Provider transport but it has few variants So before I get into the base model and its variants A bit of background to explain where this idea came form.

In the 1970s the Royal Thai air force had a fleet of C-123K Providers and they attempted to extend its service life by replacing the two 2500 horsepower R2800-99W radial engines with two 4200 horsepower T56-7 turboprops but it wasn’t successful but in Strangereal however Osean used the T-model Provider as a short range transport plane until the C-27J Spartans replaced them.

The base model C-123T Provider which could carry 61 troops or 24,000ib of cargo which Osea used to replace their R2800 powered Providers.

These Providers served in the Belkan War ferrying troops and Supplies to Ustio after it was liberated and now onto the OADF variants.

The VC-123T Provider is the VIP Transport variant that was used to ferry the commander of the Osean Forces on the border with Belka.

The UC-123T Provider is a modified cargo plane for de-forestation and pest control operations like the infamous IRL Agent Orange program from the 1970s where the USAF sprayed dixoins over the forests of North Vietnam to destroy forests that the North Vietnamese Army were using for Guerilla Warfare but caused major health problems in the decades after the Vietnam War but I could see Osea using de-forestation to clear forest to allow their troops to cross Belka’s forests however I would expect Harling’s Government would handle the clean-up and whatever likely health issues came up.

The Osean Air Force wasn’t the only branch to use the Turbo Provider as this aircraft was known and the other branch was the Osean Coastguard as the HC-123T Provider which like its propeller predecessor the HC-123B Provider was used by the coastguard as a short range Search and Rescue plane which they used until after the Belkan War then retired them into long term storage until being refurbished and sold to UPEO for Search and Rescue

now a final new variant I just thought up The AC-123T Provider which were medium sized gunships that were placed between the small AC-47T Spookies and the AC-130 fleet it was armed with one 105mm M102 Howitzer with 100 rounds and two 7.62mm GAU-2A Miniguns with 15550 rounds

Osea originally used some modified C-123Ks as AC-123K night-time surveillance planes which had bomb bay with a capacity of 2000ibs of munitions but the T-model did away with the bomb bay in favour of a full gunship but ultimately the Provider gunships were retired and mostly scrapped

so this is the end of the Osean turbine conversion series I hope you all enjoyed this series of posts and I’ll catch y’all next time

Osean turbine conversions part 2 – C-121F Super Constellation

Following on from the C-97J Stratofreighter the 2nd turbine conversion is c-121f super constellation which was a turbine conversion of the C and G-model super constellation transports replacing the unreliable R3350-30W radial piston engines producing 14,800 horsepower with T34-6 turboprop engines totalling 22,120 horsepower and like the Stratofreighter it has multiple modifications so let’s dive in

The C-121F Super Constellation is the Troop and Cargo Transport plane which had a crew of 4 to 15 and could carry 87 to 106 Passengers or 24,200ibs of Cargo while its Medical Evacuation role could take 73 stretchers the Osean military used this in their Northern territories shuttling people and cargo around between Osea and Ustio in the pre-belkan war years until 757 based C-32B transports replaced them in 1998.

The First of the modifications is the Electronic Intelligence recording, Airborne Early Warning and Psychological Warfare aircraft the EC-121V Coronet Solo II aircraft which shares the name of the Osean Maritime Defense Force’s EC-121S Coronet Solo aircraft, it replaced the fleet of retired EC-121s and served till the newer E-767s Airborne Early Warning and the Psychological Warfare EC-130J Commando Solo replaced it.

The second variant of the new Super Constellation is the RC-121W Warning Star II is Reconnaissance spy plane which took over the job of its piston predecessor the RC-121C Warning Star aircraft but when the Osean Air Force used the older C-model there was confusion among what it was as its designation was of a spy plane instead of an airborne early warning plane so Osea used a handful as Signals intelligence spy planes until RC-135 Fleet came into service however the RC-121W Warning Star II stuck around till the RC-12 Guardrail and newer Rivet Joints replaced it.

Onto variant number 3 the TC-121F Super Constellation multiple engined trainer which replaced the obsolete TC-121C and G Super Constellations that the Osean Air Force used as trainers for their large transport planes, this modification were ultimately replaced by small twin engine engine trainers like the T-1 Jayhawk which was more efficient than the TC-121F.

Up next is the fourth special modification the VC-121Y Super Constellation Vip Transport plane that Osea created to replace their fleet of C, E and G-model Super Constellation Vip Transports and to relieve strain on the fleet of Stratolifter and Stratoliner Vip Transport planes until it was retired in 1996 and replaced by the 727 based C-22C transport plane.

If you thought the Osean Air Force were the only operators of this aircraft well you would be mistaken as the Osean Navy used a version to replace ageing WC-121N Super Constellation hurricane hunting aircraft and supplement their WP-3A Orion Weather Reconnaissance planes, The Osean Navy called this plane the WC-121Z Super Constellation and it served until the Osean navy retired both WP-3A Orion and WC-121Z Super Constellation in favour of letting the Osean Air Defence Force took on Hurricane reconnaissance flights.

Now like before I have a design to pass on and that is the EC-121V Coronet Solo II

a forest green and desert camouflaged EC-121V Coronet Solo Two that had four T34-6 Turboprops that electronic equipment fixed on the top of the fuselage and on the belly and sensors on the wingtip.

Osean turbine conversions part 1 – C-97J Stratofreighter

i was browsing the web ages ago and came across the experimental turbine modifications of some propliner transports that the USAF experimented with in the 50s and 60s and it gave me an idea that Osea actually made and used these turbine conversions until the years after the belkan war as they were stop gaps till Osea got the aircraft it wanted so i’ll start with the C-97 Stratofreighter which was converted from the R4360-59B radial engines which produced 13,000 horsepower to the T34-5 turboprops totalling 20,900 horsepower the J-model variants replaced their piston powered versions however the C-124B Globemaster 2 will not be used as its job had been taken by the Starlifter.

The C-97J Stratofreighter is the base cargo and troop transport version that could carry 134 troops or 75000ibs of cargo with a crew of 6 to 7 now onto its modifications

The EC-97J Stratofreighter is an electronic intelligence gathering aircraft that Osea would use to spy on Belka until being replaced by the EC-`130E aircraft.

now onto the 2nd modification the HC-97J Stratofreighter Search and Rescue aircraft now i can guess what you are thinking why does Osea need this plane when they’d have the HC-130H, N and P Combat Kings well they are for Combat Search and Rescue operations but the HC-97G Stratofreighter and its turbine variant the HC-97J Stratofreighter built for Search and Rescue operations until they were replaced by HC-130Js.

Now we move onto the aircraft Osea kept in use the longest out of the variants the KC-97J Stratofreighter tanker which could carry Osea built to serve as their helicopter refueller for the Search and Rescue UH-60Js until the KC-130H hercules came into service but if you’re wondering what these variants looked like well i’ll show you at the end now onto to our last 2 modifications.

now our fourth modification is the MC-97J Stratofreighter Medical Evacuation Transport which does what its job suggests it can carry the wounded and was designed to replace the MC-54A Skymaster, MC-54M Skymaster, MC-97G Stratofreighter and MC-119J Flying Boxcar medical evacuation transports and could carry 69 Medical Evacuation passengers but this one was replaced by Globemaster 3s

and last but not least the final modification the VC-97J Stratofreighter which was designed as VIP Transport and took over from the fleet of VC-54 Skymasters, VC-97D Stratofreighter and VC-123B providers although it was the first to go in the post Belkan war disarmament.

so i said i’d show you what these variants looked like but the C-97J shares the same design as the HC-97J, MC-97J and VC-97J

C-97j stratofreighter
a silver C-97J Stratofreighter that had a double-bubble type fuselage with four T34-5 turbine engines mounted on its wing with two underwing pods.

Ec-97J Stratofreighter

a light grey EC-97J Stratofreighter that had Electronic intel gathering equipment fixed to its rear fuselage

Kc-97j Stratofreighter

a silvery grey KC-97J Stratofreighter had a double-bubble fuselage with a straight wing that had four T34-5 Turboprops and two pods between the engines fixed near the outboard engines. The fuselage had a cargo door midway across the forward fuselage with a refuelling boom fixed on the rear fuselage with a refueling hose fixed inside the rear fuselage.

so this covers the C-97J Stratofreighter next time i’ll be covering the c-121f super constellation

see ya all soon

My Ustio Navy

yes I know Ustio is not confirmed to have a navy but its likely they have a small navy like the irl Switzerland

For the Combat ships would be the pt-16 class gunboats as they are more efficient and faster than the older Aquarius class gunboats and speaking of the Aquarius class

I think Ustio would convert Aquarius class gunboat into utility boats so personnel can be shuttled by sea.

The Ustio Navy would operate aircraft such as the B1900C and B1900D commuter planes as cargo transport and use the ADS-95 Ranger UAV for reconnaissance as for the VIP Transport would be served by a B1900C-1 aircraft and the Utility plane would be the B200 Super King Air modified into B1300 Commuter planes.

when it comes to helicopter force the Ustio Navy would use an EC132T2+ helicopter for VIP Transport and Utility duties
